ADHD Children Improve Under Homeopathic Treatment
The Homeopathic Research Institute under the guidance of Philippa Fibert released a study on the effects of homeopathic treatment for ADHD children. Twenty children received homeopathic treatment and were compared with ten children not receiving homeopathic treatment. After a period of 24 weeks, based on the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders 4th Edition (DSM-IV) characteristics and a self-assessment scale for this condition, there was found to be a significant response from the treatment over time.
The analysis was kept up for a longer period and it was found that the children continued to improve even after one year.
